About Us

Hola, we're Arthur and Natalie

We're the owners of Villas Dualis, and we live right here in Sámara. We moved from Toronto with our young son and fell for the same things you will: the beach, the monkeys in the trees, and a town you can walk end to end in ten minutes.

We spent two years building these villas and sweated every detail. Whole-house water filtration so you can drink from the tap. Screens on every window. Proper mattresses. Kitchens we'd actually want to cook in, with sharp knives. One of our guests said the whole stay turned into a game of "I bet they didn't think of X." We always had.

Before Costa Rica, Arthur spent 20+ years building and running hospitality and operations businesses, including a 10-location restaurant group. Natalie's background is real estate. Hosting is what we do full time, not a side project. When you message us, you get us, not an agency.

Why two identical villas?

Because groups deserve better than sofa beds. Book one villa for your family, or both for a reunion, a retreat, or two families traveling together. Same layout, same beds, two private pools, and nobody draws the short straw.
